• You, our customer ("User") — the subscriber or business using DOT Lead List; and
• Individuals and contacts whose information you, the User, may input into the Software (such as carrier notes or CRM contact logs). DOT Lead List acts as a data processor/service provider with respect to Customer Data stored on your behalf.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password.
• Billing information: handled directly and securely by our payment processor, Stripe — see Section 4.
• Customer Data you input: CRM pipeline status notes, custom tags, and outreach records.
• Communications: messages and feedback you send to our support team.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and interactions with the platform.
• Cookies and tracking technologies: we use cookies to ensure proper session handling, authentication, and service performance.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Stripe: transaction confirmations and subscription status metadata (we never receive or store full credit card numbers).
• Public Motor Carrier Records: government databases and public transportation records (such as USDOT and FMCSA data feeds) used to power our lead lists.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services and CRM tools;
• Process subscription payments and manage your account;
• Deliver daily motor carrier lead feeds;
• Communicate with you regarding your account, updates, and customer support;
• Monitor, secure, and protect the integrity of the platform; and
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with trusted service providers as follows:

• Stripe — to process subscription payments. Stripe's data practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloud Infrastructure Providers — secure cloud hosting and database infrastructure (TiDB) to store application and account data.
• Legal and Safety Reasons — if required to comply with applicable law, subpoenas, or legal processes, or to protect the safety and rights of DOT Lead List and our users.
• Business Transfers — in connection with any merger, sale of assets, or corporate acquisition.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Application and CRM records are stored in secure cloud database infrastructure.
• Payment details are encrypted and handled exclusively by Stripe; DOT Lead List never stores raw payment card numbers.
• We maintain appropriate technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access.

6. Cookies and Tracking Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies for necessary site functionality and security. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some platform features may require cookies to operate properly.

7. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account remains active and as required by legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended strictly for commercial and business use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
